The King's Sortition

At the behest of the King you must scour the kingdom to collect a representative sample of the population to debate the dragon issue.

But will he listen to what they have to say and will you escape being set on fire?

The King’s Sortition is a top down, 3D, narrative, collect-’em-um set on a playful stylized medieval fantasy island.

This is my submission to the Citizens Assemblies game jam organised by Global Game Jam and One World or None. And much like the protagonist of this game, I assembled it rather hastily, with whatever assets I could get hold of, and without much clue as to what I was doing.  So I'm afraid it's rather large and quite poorly optimized but I think it still gives a flavour of all the mechanics I was hoping to include.  I was aiming for a mixture of "Thank goodness you're here", "Sheep", and "Dark Souls". Enjoy and please share feedback.

If you find yourself on fire, run into the sea to be less on fire.
